If you need advice on a personal problem, support during a crisis, a place to talk about your marriage, husband or children, somewhere to brag about you or your children's accomplishments, a safe place to vent about daily annoyances or just a place to laugh, cry or find a shoulder to lean on, this is the place for you. At The Women's Place, we have built a community of sharing, caring and supportive women and welcome new members with open hearts and minds. The members are real women, with real lives, including all the daily laughs, tears and frustrations that accompany daily living. They are more than willing to share their lives and advice freely, even if that means offering a swift kick when needed. So, come in, pull up a chair and stay awhile. You will not find a more inviting place in all of cyber space.

The friendships you will see on this site extend beyond the boundaries of cyberspace.  Members on this website have developed both virtual and real friendships throughout the three years this site has existed. In fact, many of the members meet regularly for coffee or, in larger groups, for lunch or dinner. We have also established an annual BBQ event, to which every member is invited. Last years BBQ was a great success, as you can see from the picture. This years BBQ will be held in the interior of BC, in August. Members from all over North America plan to attend this year.

For All the New Mothers,

This past year we have had babies....oh boy have we had babies. Including a second grandchild for me!

This is the place to share your journey through pregnancy, brag about that baby or grandchild, ask for advice, share parenting tips or store those precious pictures in a cyberspace. The "New Mother' forum, 'Our Kids' forum and 'Family Life' forum are perfect places to share any joys or concerns with other women who understand perfectly how you feel.

For women over 18, and for those who would prefer a private place to talk about relationships, problems or ask for advice on personal matters. we have Full Forum Access, for adults only.
