Default I'm Green!

and not with envy!!!!

We're going to a wedding this weekend. If the weather cooperates I'd like to wear a halter style dress with an open back. The dress is mostly white, with black. And with the extreme lack of sunshine I am glowing white, not a good combo with a white dress.

So this morning I had Garry apply a sunless tanner on my back and arms. I've been using the same stuff on my legs for the last couple days with no problem.

The tanner has an eery green tint to it when you apply it. He said I looked like Fiona from Shrek . It must be so you can see where you have and haven't applied it.

About an hour ago I rubbed my shoulder and it felt gritty. So I rubbed a bit harder and these little green flakes started coming off. SO GROSS! I think I have developed some color, but the flakes are disgusting!

Eek! Maybe a scrub in the shower will help?

I looked at Walmart the other day and couldn't find one. This was an Avon one. It's probably a bit on the old side.

Oh well, it will be gone in time. Just weird.

That is gross! Glad it worked out. I use a moisturizer with some sunless tanner in it that's made by Aveeno. It's supposed to be more subtle than a full-on sunless tanning product. It definetly still adds colour. I always end up with tanned arms/face but pasty white legs from riding, so I use this on my legs to add a little colour.

Yuck! I have a Loreal sunless tanner that works really well, except my skin tends to flake off unevenly especially on my arms (even if I'm sure to scrub and moisurize lots!) so it looks ridiculous and I don't often use it!
A good scrub is sugar and lemon juice to get rid of sunless tanner - the acidity from the lemon juice plus the scrubbiness of the sugar works wonders
